Return to Spain: Trip to Seville

Well, after a much-needed respite at home I'm back in Spain for my second semester at SUMC. Admittedly it was a rough start--not twelve hours after stepping off a plane in Madrid I found myself on a high speed train to Andalucia, a sunny region in the south of Spain. But even jetlag can't detract from a city as beautiful as this, and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The following photo diary (of sorts) was taken not only in the city of Seville, but from a number of other places we visited throughout our four-day excursion. Needless to say, southern Spanish culture is distinctly different from the northern way of life; the Moorish influence of centuries past can still be seen in the streets of Seville today. Though it was my first, it certainly won't be my last trip to the south of Spain.
